This forum is used to raise corrections required to currently hosted official simfiles and discuss work required for newly released official simfiles.
If your post does not relate to this then you are in the wrong forum. This also applies to asking a question that may result in simfile maintenance. For example, asking "Does 3rd Mix have soft steps and do they need coding" should be posted in "Offical Simfile Discussion". Once you are definate about something then post here "I have discovered 3rd Mix has soft steps, some work will need to be organised to create these as they are not currently present in the files". Anything posted here which obviously should have been posted elsewhere will result in a reduction on your user level.
This forum is a reference for Lawrence (the simfile co-ordinator) to show what discussions / work is in progress and what has been completed or is not relevant. This is a unique forum in that it's a working area, so posts that have been worked through or are completed are locked.
When posting, be objective and polite. Rudeness to Lawrence via this forum or PM will result in a suspension from the site. Here's an example of how not to post:
Butterfly is way out of sync it's unplayable!! This needs fixing!
And here's a more constructive way of posting that is much more likely to be implemented:
Butterfly from Dance Dance Revolution 1st Mix seems fairly off on my system. Other files in that mix are on sync so It's unlikely my PC is to blame. Can the simfile be looked at please and checked for sync. Thank-you.
Also, if you have found incorrect steps or problems it is much more helpful for Lawrence if you go ahead and make a correction and post the steps or lyrics etc. rather than saying there's a mistake somewhere. If you can not make the correction try to be specific as to where the problem is. For example: "The fourth bar on Butterfly, it's second beat should be a left arrow, not a right arrow".
