Many topics and comments have popped up around DDR:uk about the new Dancing Stage Fusion Game. If you have played the FULL version (not the TEST LOCATION VERSION) then why not comment here and vote in our poll.
Tell us what you think of the game, do you like it, or is it a disappointment?

Konami need to update this machine in a hurry. The average user is not going to appreciate the new hardware, and the song selection is appalling. People are still flocking to EM2.

It's good to see a new European mix, but the lack of nonstop/oni plus the limited songlist disappointed me. Sorry Konami!

woefully disappointing. and cheap looking too! i think it would have been much more sane to have made fusion contain all the em1 and 2 KOs as default, then have update packs/unlocks of songs from party edition, fever, megamix etc etc.
they could also add songs from the the next ps2 and xbox games...

Why have people voted that it's good? I'd like to hear WHY people think it's good. As far as I can see, it's an awful arcade release. Okay, I kinda understand that they have a shortened song list so that beginners aren't overwhelmed by it, but the lack of nonstop mode is inexcusable. How can they remove a feature that costs nothing to implement but adds a lot of replayability to the game? What possible reasoning can they have for it? It's like they've deliberately tried to **** off as many long term players as they can. I would love to hear an official Konami statement on this because it makes no sense that they could get it so wrong. Two and half years after DDR Extreme, and they really did start over. They gave us a prettier version of DDR 1st Mix.

This is what this thread is about, sensible reasons as to why... also (while I remember) dont judge too much on each other's opinions... I will also be sending this one off to Konami to look at too, so lets be constructive too

Im sorry if this post is deemed unsuitable in any way but I just want to express myself about this new release.
I really do think that DS:Fusion is a real let down with what KOE have produced. I just wish Konami would actually listen and take notice to the people that surely make the whole Dancing Stage series game what it is today...........the players!
If there were no Dancing Stage players, then Konami wouldn't have had any reason to create a sequal to keep their players happy and interested in the game. I think Konami this time however appeared to have made a major mistake in trying to keep the series alive by releasing something that just can't compare to that in America/Japan.
Why do they single us players within the EU out? We all know that Konami can produce a damn good version of Dancing Stage/DDR but they don't want to give it to us in the EU......It's just not fair. If Konami are going to get themselves out of this hole then major improvements had better start to show otherwise they will lose the 1 thing that they need to keep the game alive......You, the players who've stuck around all these years (No i wasn't going to say townies/chavs lol)
Anyways enough of my bantering

Dancing Stage is OK. But I like the song choices for DDR much better. Long live DDR!!
