The BMP is easy to crop, and I remember reading somthing about the colors being broken, I think it's just R<->B switch, since the bg (arrows) rips red...I'll keep em comin' tho.
Yes the ripping is difficult to do, but they are comming out correctly, so once the conversion format is found out, we'll have uber-crisp images
Okay...buttload update tomorrow, I gotta sleep. Colors are correct, I compared Beethoven to the DDREX AR copy and it was, indeed, identical...

I'll be ripping everything from the DS games over the next couple of days, so people can look forward to crispy graphics from those too!

I understand that the BMP images are easy to crop, but one thing to understand is that I'm really anal about things in my archives, so I'd much rather have the originals to crop myself.
You guys are the best.

AWal: so are you saying you found a way to rip them correctly or change them (after ripping) correctly? If you found a way to rip them correctly, i'll wait for instructions before providing my share. I'll do MAX USA and MAX 2 USA banners for now.

I'm pretty sure he means he's getting the banners through whatever methods he's using. He also mentions needing to know what the "conversion format" is, so the colors are likely still off. But I may be wrong.
Regardless, I can fix the incorrectly colored images, as I said. They should still come out looking nice -- the two I showed really fast look like crap because I just wanted to see if I could get the colors correct and saved them as bad JPEGs.

I'm in the process of getting MAX1USA banners right now. Makou: do you want only the banners that need to be redone or do you want all of them? (I'm guessing you want all of them... )
I don't have any songs unlocked on my emulator memory card. I can't rip banners to songs unless they are unlocked. Does anybody know how to convert PS2 memory save files? They have some for download at gamefaqs but I don't know how to convert it to the format that the emulator uses.
Also, can somebody teach me how to convert the colors back to their original form? I know AWal explained it in one sentence at the end of his first post, but I'm still lost. Besides banners, there are many other useful things to be finally ripped. It is a themer's dream! Is it done in the emulator, Photoshop, or Cheat Engine? Makou, I know you know how to do this.

Colors Are Correct If I/You split the result to R/G/B and then re-combine as B/G/R (Reverse order).
Also posted is speed over beethoven to show that this method is correct.

Everything everything everything! If there's a song-related image (banner/background) to be had, I would like to have it ripped, even if we already have a version that's actually been ripped from somewhere. I'd much rather do it that way than accidentally miss something.
As for shifting the colors, all I did was open the image in IrfanView and use the "RGB -> BGR" option under Swap Colors in the Image menu -- but AWal's method should work, as well. If need be, of course, the incorrect images will do.
