Good morning all!
Just to give people an update of what we have seen at ATEI today.
Konami: Guitar Freaks v4 Drum Mania v4

Andamiro PIU Pro - Kyle Ward in attendance.

JNC Sales: Dance Dance Revolution Supernova with eAmuse.
DifferentPlay Multistage - with up to 72 dance mats and based of Stepmania

Vogos: Drum Station Live

---
Interesting points to note from this event.
With the Multistage game, we were able to take a look at the song list, which included such songs by DM Ashura, such as NeoMax, and Zodiac and Take Me Back from ITG. There were other interesting songs on there, however they claim they had exhibition rights to show the songs, however these wont be the ones on sale.
Konami stand were able to update the software on their two GF/DM games and is working, so the software is a little more up to date. Konami also had Wacky Races on display as well! As expected there was no DDR/DS on the stand, however the information booklet had the outline of a dance machine with "Coming Soon" to eAmuse. Speculation anyone ;) Basically the document went on to try and sell eAmuse to the crowds, so explained the new system of getting machines connected. The two there were connected to the eAmuse system.
Pump It Up Pro was on display, with the usual following of players there, however Kyle Ward was on hand to promote the game. A very friendly guy who I accidentally interrupted his conversation with people! The interface does have the feeling of Stepmania, however you would need to be someone that used Stepmania a lot to notice this. However the game itself seemed to play very well, and the fans around the stand seemed happy with where the game was going.
We came across a stand with a game on called Drum Station Live. It has a total of 40 songs on with its first version, 20 of which have been licensed from Andamiro, including Hot, Chimera, and Solitary all had original PIU NX backgrounds and videos. They seem to be working with Andamiro.

As I get more updates I'll update this page!

...you've called Dance Station 'Drum Station'...
Or is it the other way round?

Edit'd. That damn fool!
Still, there's some good shiz there for the community. Here's hoping Konami release their games with the working e-amuse! Drum Station (which is amazing. It's got a real goddamn drumkit!) might give them the push to try an release DM first perhaps?
More to come tomorrow anyways. Hopefully a lot more

Drum Station seems to be an English version of the Korean game 'doogi doogi', which had a real drumkit.

The guy that created it was Korean, and also has the backing of Andamiro, so could turn out to be interesting.

Well, just got home - exhausted
I enjoyed meeting Kyle Ward - it's hard not to get caught up in his enthusiasm. Just as an FYI, he actually knows one heck of a lot about Pump, and although not all of the decisions that have been made in regards to Pro are going to make Pump fans happy, there has been some thought put into what is there. For instance - during play, if one player is on, say their second song, you can put in your pound and join them. When they come to the end of their go, you will still have a song left! That's a pretty innovative way of killing waiting times. Things that will not impress Pump fans but are really not a big deal involve certain BG changes - this was because they were deemed 'too risque' for the US market, and of course simply the fact that it is like ITG.
There are a few other things worth mentioning too. For instance, if you choose 2x on Pump Pro it will really be more like 2.5x. The thinking behind this is that beginner players will find it easier to play Pump style songs in 1x, not knowing the speed codes and all. So there you go, just a quickie summary, but interesting nontheless. Good fun to play if you enjoy ITG too, if not just to see what they have done with the charts. They are very good in my opinion so don't worry too much

Seeing as they were heavily pimping e-Amusement (and had both V4 machines hooked up at the show), I'd say that is a given.
Quote: Drum Station (which is amazing. It's got a real goddamn drumkit!) might give them the push to try an release DM first perhaps?
As mentioned, Doogi Doogi did that 2 years ago (though was a poor game, really), and I've only ever seen one machine in the wild (in a Shanghai arcade).
It is also very interesting to note it has precisely the same drum setup as Drummania (unlike Doogi Doogi, which had two cymbals and three toms ;p)
