They're dicks for not hiring me. But I might go along to the Birmingham thing.

I'm not sure the claims of it being a rip off or ugly are all that valid, because as with their usual spin, PG is trying to sell it as a fitness game, and indeed the only place you'll ever see a full setup is fitness centres. The excessive data on the results screens is pretty much acceptable, because at least everyone in the room can look at their own details, and if the game is being led by someone running the setup they can see if someone is on a difficulty they really can't handle, as floundering on the mat is hardly good for fitness.

Adding in the seperate difficulties option is an excellent idea, and was the primary problem I had with ITG Fitness when I was helping out a gym with their new setup for the day with Adam and co. They didn't pay us. Bastards.

But yeah, you have to judge this on a completely different set of rules, and those are the rules of a gym. Music and charts remain valid, but the music is much better off being in the ITG styling, which is solid dance/techno which you can write constantly flowing charts to.

We already announced this at the PG EC 2008, but we again think it is important to mention that we are also working on an Arcade Version of Positive Gaming iDANCE which is planned for late 2009.

On the other hand, this is very interesting, and unless the game is radically changed this won't be much good at all.

It may be too late now, but I'm trying to get one of my works into iDANCE. That would be the biggest coup of my life. Chances, however, are less than 1%. Oh well.

Update: I'm in the middle of polishing that song, so my chances at this point are up to 5%. lol

I'll be attending LIW for all three days, so we'll see how this goes. I'll make sure to give a full review :-)

32 simultaneous players? That sounds fun, but you know there will always be that someone better than you.
