Needs more variety with the music; it's mainly geared towards a Scandinavian audience (HotN for instance) and seems to be on a parallel to ITG1's songlist. It seems to focus quite a lot on techno, it doesn't seem to have enough emphasis on many other genres from what I gathered from the LIW demo, which would potentially decrease interest in the UK market for the game on the basis of music.
Also I noticed the pads deteriorated towards the end of the day, and I mean lots of pad misses. This needs to be fixed for the final release for people who score attack.
For the arcade release the judgements need to be in the same area of the screen that the arrows scroll up, Most people who are introduced to iDance will need to get used to focusing on more than one portion of the screen at once.
Stepcharts: At least one song (can't remember its name) has random 64th notes in a couple of sections that don't go with any audible elements to the song, sorta like many Chris Foy charts from ITG. Other than that and the general ITG feel of charts, they are generally very solid.
Right, positive aspects:
Although they currently can't be selected, pre-selected speed mods are generally suitable for everyday play, and provide quite a comfortable reading area.
Progress bar at the top of the screen shows the tempo changes and stops through the song which is quite handy for those who want to get full comboes.
Results screen shows early/late timing for each step throughout the song along with judgement counts. The stars on the results screen aren't suitable for those that are colourblind.

"I found they give pad misses after a lot of use (Certainly at the multiplayer iDance demo at LIW)."
and deepblue391 words also.
were the pads charged during LIW? One of our pads was low on battery after excessive play but was not giving so many pad misses as I also experienced at LIW. o_O
but as none of the wireless pads I played on ever got me pad misses even on low battery...I wonder why this happened at LIW.

Actually i agree with ian i think the third pad on the back row dropped an amazing amount of holds and missed a lot of arrows at the end of the wednesday but i never thought to mention it to those on duty.

I did mention it to PG and was met with a reply mentioning something about "wireless interference" from nearby booths when in actuality it was to do with the pad sensors themselves.
