Some questions answered for you 
The aim is to keep UBeat in Acton over the Autumn school holidays, it however is not guaranteed, it depends on how testing goes between now and then.
However, they have noticed your comments about the location of the machines... and their reply was "Unfortunately we need to check these machines a couple of times per week when we are testing them so we need to pick a location that is in a relatively close proximity to our offices."

Half-term is from 25th October - 2nd November, so it will be there around Expo
May have to arrange a trip to this myself

Made a 'spur of the moment' journey to Acton today after hearing about the test location.
The two machines are sandwiched inbetween The EM2 and Fusion (to the right of the entrance as you walk in the automatic doors.)
Ok...the game is definately fun, all buttons seem to work properly, the only thing that will annoy users is that you have to go through 'Practice Mode' every credit, but you can skip most of it when prompted.
Both machines are set to 2 'Tunes' per credit, with 3 difficulty settings (basic, advanced, extreme) that are changed by touching a song multiple times, and you can change difficulty mid-credit.
There are 20 songs available to play, with classics like Barbie Girl, I'm In The Mood For Dancing (original), Y.M.C.A, Scatman, Set You Free, Take On Me, Sandstorm, Rock Around The Clock, and Informer that most people should recognise, with a fair few Bemani artist songs in the mix (1 from Kors K and several from Mutsuhiko Izumi) to keep the fanboys happy.
I had a fun time playing this game and would definately play more!
