Righty, as some of you know I've been lucky enough to have a couple of hands on goes with iDANCE. Not too much info about the game itself has been let out yet, so I figured it's about time I let out what I know.

You want information? Click here!

Above is a fairly length writeup of what I know about the game, with my own opinions added. Alongside that there's the interview that I managed to get with the Director of Positive Gaming whilst at LIW, and a complete songlist that I managed to get on video yesterday at an iDANCE event I was attending.

I hope a lot of you read through it, and if you've got any opinions, questions, or feedback please post it here and I'll try to get it seen by those who matter.

Now go read :-)

Update: Positive Gaming have issued a press release about the release of the game!

The first revision of the Multiplayer Version of Positive Gaming iDANCE has been
launched successfully in many countries.

The idancegame.com website is unfortunately yet not fully updated, but will be
updated with more information somewhere next week.
In the meantime enjoy our brand new image gallery on PG.com, with lots of
Impressions from recent fairs and our products.

Other things coming soon with the release of iDANCE include:

The relaunch of our Youtube-Account "PositiveGamingMedia", including the highly awaited videos from the EC2008 finals.

Updates on www.idancegame.com

Audio player on www.idancegame.com, which will contain a fine selection of tunes from Positive Gaming iDANCE.

The songlist is available in the above link to the article I wrote, and there are 2 pdf files available that are full of other information about the game for your hungry brains to devour!

All about iDANCE. What the game is, and what to expect!

And this one shows you lots of screenshots, along with and explanation as to what everything is.

Well, the game is out and about now. Schools and leisure centres have been ordering their copies, so all that's left is to get a list of places that have the game! If anyone finds any locally spead the news in here! I'm going to be trying my hardest to get a complete list of locations though, and hopefully soon :-)

Seems like this made it to the news here too.

Although my nick here is different, I am the one called 'Deus' in all those credits there. Yes, yes, I know, I made the charts for Hardkore of the North, so sue me. :-) Believe me, it was much, much more brutal originally. I was told to make it a "boss song", so since I didn't know what others had done, I really had to push it over the limit.

I still reckon it will gain fame among players because it really is hard.

Also, just to show off, I do take credit of creating a simfile called "Human Flesh Engine". Those familiar and frequent to ODI might know it. In short, I like to make finger-breaking keyboard charts. Yeah.
