today it was even worse, p2 left/up stuck all day as far as i'm aware, p1 up sticky as hell, and triggering when you pressed right

i take it someone has complained to konami about the most recent pads? or do they assume the arcade owners would take care of them somehow

The Trocs technician told me on Friday... that the machine is fine and Im obviously not playing it correctly. Safe to say thay have no intention of looking after it :-)

Yes... it would involve more arrows most likely.

Sn2's codes used the face buttons as well as the four arrows IIRC...

They should REALLY make the codes for one pad only, at least until they get the mix right in terms of sensitivity in these new cabinets that just dont seem to be able to make their minds up.

It's gonna be like the DDR:SN2.

1. Insert credit.
2. Enter code before the splash title menu disappears.
3a. If you hear a cheer and an icon appears on the screen (normally Afro), success!
3b. If the splash screen fades, play your credit and try again later.

CONFIRMED!

It costs nothing to enter the code, but remember to wait for the title screen so the arrows are lighting up.

Also, there's a pretty broad window to enter the code (unlike, say, Rock Band and GH cheat codes on consoles)

These two things mark a big step forward for Konami.

The backwards step?
Well, not having Europe on a European machine's high-score entry selection. What up with that? Loads of USA, a few Asian areas, and one "the rest of the world, including where this machine is sold and the South Pole" option.
